Cooking Lesson

Kids love a cooking lessons to experience different flavors and obviously have fun. In Brazil, avocado is normally eaten with sugar. This is why I decided to make Guacamole, a traditional Mexican recipe where avocado is smashed with tomato, onion, garlic, cilantro, pepper, lemon and salt. In other words, totally different from what they were used to. The result? Check in the pictures on https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ghtrwy68p245npt/Kpbwu0HSu2?m. Last year my adult students also enjoyed the same experience, you can check in the video http://brazilianfriends.multiply.com/video/item/186/GUACAMOLE-RECIPE.mpg.

This video has helped me to learn the lesson before practice it and only then, teach kids how to do that.
